What Samparkk collects, why, who else touches it, how long it is kept and how to ask for it to be deleted. Last updated 2 November 2026.
Two roles
Website visitors. If you type your number on the home page to hear a demo call, or email us, Samparkk decides how that data is used: to place the call or reply, and to keep the demo free of abuse.
Customer campaigns. When a customer uploads contacts, or connects a CRM such as Zoho CRM, and runs calls, the customer decides why the personal data of those contacts is used. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 the customer is the data fiduciary and Samparkk is its data processor. We process that data only on the customer's instructions, to run the calling service.
What we collect
- From the customer or its CRM: a contact's name and phone number, and the custom fields the customer sends. The Zoho CRM extension sends, for each Lead the user selects, the Zoho lead id, full name, phone (Mobile, else Phone), company, lead source and city.
- From the call: the audio recording, the transcript, an AI summary, the outcome tag and any answers the agent was set up to capture. Calls are recorded and transcribed.
- Call metadata: time, duration, status and the number used to dial. This is kept for billing and telecom records.
- Account data: the customer's users and API keys. For Zoho, an OAuth refresh token for the customer's own Zoho organisation, encrypted at rest and never written to logs.
- Website: the number typed into the demo form, and first-party analytics for page visits.
Why we use it
To place and handle the calls the customer asked for, to write the results back to the customer's CRM, to bill for usage, to honour do-not-call requests, and to find and fix faults. We do not sell personal data and do not use customers' call content to advertise.
What goes back into Zoho CRM
Only into the customer's own Zoho organisation: eight Samparkk fields on the Lead (route, disposition, summary, sentiment, recording link, last call time, attempts, campaign id) and a Note holding the call transcript. When the caller asks for a callback, a Zoho Task is also created with the requested time and the callback topic. The recording link stays valid while the recording is retained. Disconnecting Zoho in the extension settings stops all write-back and deletes the stored token.
Who processes it with us
These providers process data to deliver the service. We use only the ones a call needs.
| Provider | Purpose | Region |
|---|---|---|
| Exotel | Telephony: places and connects the calls, call audio stream | India |
| Deepgram | Speech-to-text of the caller's words | Provider cloud; may be outside India |
| ElevenLabs | Text-to-speech for the agent's voice | Provider cloud; may be outside India |
| Sarvam | Text-to-speech and Indian-language speech fallback | India-based provider |
| Cerebras, Groq | Language models that run the conversation and analyse the transcript | Provider cloud; may be outside India |
| Amazon Web Services (Lightsail, Mumbai) | Hosting of the application, database and recordings | India (Mumbai) |
| Google Gemini | AI analysis of the transcript, as a fallback language model | As Google states for the Gemini API |
The service stores customer data on servers in Mumbai. Speech and language providers receive audio or text for each call in order to process it, and some run outside India. Outcomes are sent to the customer's own CRM when the customer configures that.
Retention
Retention is configurable per customer. When a customer sets a retention period, the transcript, recording link, summary and captured answers of every older call are cleared; the call record itself (time, duration, outcome and billing figures) stays for billing and telecom audit. With no period set, nothing is cleared automatically. A customer can also erase everything held for one phone number on request. Website demo data is kept only as long as needed to run the demo and prevent abuse.
Do-not-call and AI disclosure
Numbers that ask not to be called again are added to the customer's do-not-call list, which is checked before every dial. By default, agents say they are an AI when a caller asks and never claim to be human.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data and to withdraw consent. If your number was called for a customer, the customer is the first place to ask; we help them act on it. You can also write to us directly at hello@samparkk.ai and we will route or answer your request.
Security
Access to customer data is scoped per customer account and API key, connections use HTTPS, and Zoho tokens are encrypted at rest. We do not claim any security certification.
Third-party services on this site
The demo form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to filter automated submissions, pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and the site uses Google Analytics.
